Lecce limestone
is a calcareous stone dating back to the Miocene period
(21 million years ago). Its unique compactness, colour
and structure are due to its components. Its charm and
geological value are given by little bits of fossils. The
typology of the quarried products have different colours,
compactness, homogeneity and age . The main varieties are
the pale golden stone, the white stone and the grey one.
